Entfer is new web search engine that aims to give users more control over the search experience, starting with allowing users to set their own ranking for sites, but also respecting the query terms and parameters defined by the user.

Entfer uses an independent index, to avoid starting off with a strong bias defined by search giants and the SEO industry.

It’s currently at an early prototype stage. The index is growing but still small, and many important features do not exist yet, such as exact phrase searching, but they are coming soon.

www.kagi.com has a similar feature. However your results are far worse, and primarily rely on user calibration whilst Kagi’s are more or less superior to Google’s. Fantastic idea though and a worthy competitor if you can fix the quality of results. How are you generating them?
