    Probably tangentially, but as an atheist, i've seen attempts to discredit my view by people going after these supposed heroes of atheism. The truth is we are not a monolith, and each atheist as different to the next as any other group. I would go so far as to say that we are not even cohesive enough to be a group.

    On the topic, I believe it's a yikes from me. It's not saying something new and not educative, and not helping anyone. It's one of those things that's not worth it to say. Regardless even if it's miraculously as simple as stated.

    It is common for atheists (I was one) to ignore the fact that the society they live in achieves it's balance based on one faith or another. Good on Dawkins for acknowledging it.
