    What about the fact that disabled parking bays are provided with more space around them, to help less able people get in/out of their cars, or even to get wheelchairs alongside the cars?

    That seems like it's a much greater benefit than the reduced walk-times.

    Please review my attempt to discover the true time cost of the marginal handicapped parking space. I am tired of thoughtlessly accepting this imposition into our physical space. A code review is very much solicited!

    Now what you really need is a subscription service to access the ability to bid for handicap spots. /s

    In all seriousness, I would be more interested in the results of a simulation with more rows of parking. I've noticed Walmart has started implementing walkways to speed pedestrian traffic down the rows of cars instead of in the path of cars coming and going. Changes like that probably have a far greater impact on customer flow.
